A bunch of you have asked for an update … regarding what has been going on in my life lately:

A typhoon dumped more than 1 meter of water on this part of Taiwan a few weeks ago.
A typhoon – the biggest one so far this year – is on the way & expected to hit in 24 hours or so.

We got our container of crap last week, and the ‘overage’ that the dumb lady UNDERESTIMATED arrived Tuesday. Our house looks like a warehouse.

We went out to dinner (yet again) with more friends. This time, Charlene’s high school classmates. Wow, what a cool bunch of people. Hysterical.

My Yamaha FZ-1 needs a new battery – so I can’t get it started (unfortunately). And as it’s still only got a California plate, I don’t want to drive it anyway.

I interviewed for a job today – seemed to go quite well. Interesting position – I’ll write about it if it gains more traction.

Later.

Well, we’ve been thinking a lot about moving to Taiwan.

The extent that we’ve started looking into moving costs:
airfare
shipping (our stuff)
‘set up’ costs
‘cost of doing business’ abroad

Stay tuned.
