Your Guide To All The Countries That Are One Riot Away From Becoming Greece

Interesting Article – which skirts around the issue of “Will the Germans (and few others) bail out the other EU countries instead of letting the EU go bust?”

Lots of informative graphs (pretty too) comparing and contrasting the EU situation.

I found their acronym PIGS cute …. Pardon Portugal, Italy, and Spain –> Seems that the three of you are in the running for the next to hold out their hand to Germany/France for funding. (Again). And PIGS (with the inclusion of Greece) is nicer than PIS.

The irony is that those that like to bet on things in the currency / equities markets seem to be betting against the Euro, while they’re also frowning on the US dollar -> driving up gold (and stocks of companies with direct links to gold).

I wouldn’t want to be sitting on a pile of Euros right now…

I loved this article. And as a road warrior traveler … who sometimes has insomnia ANYWAY, I’ve heard and agree with many of the items.

It’ doesn’t mention Melatonin – which I used to take and think really works.

And the shower trick DEFINITELY is good.

Finally, if you’re sensitive to light … I’d recommend high quality eye covers… ALWAYS use them, and you’ll get into the habit of being tired when you put them (loosely) around your head; of course, you’ll be unable to sleep if you forget them and you’ve become ‘pavlovian’ enough.

Love the article.

Great Article on How People With Great Potential Companies Screw Up

http://bit.ly/StartUpErrors

The most common errors that I’ve experienced working at other (people’s) startup companies have been
a) people writing half-assed contracts … which are either ridiculously generous at the expense of future (potential) employees
b) not putting vesting cycle’s into the employee contracts for EVERYONE (including founders)
c) not putting vesting cliff’s into the employee contracts for EVERYONE (including founders)
d) not writing a contract

Gree Fans Suck
Gree Fans Covered In Dust
Why To Not Buy Gree Fans

Do you like having dust covered all over your house because you buy a Gree fan?

I bought my new Gree electric rotating fan. When I opened the box, NOT ONLY did I find tons of dust – fine factory dust – but there was scratches and dirt smudges on all of the white plastic (which was supposed to be pristine).

Apparently Gree fans suck. There mustn’t be any sort of QC at the Gree factory.

What do I have against Gree? Well, at this point nothing – BUT I’m pretty sure that the factory has crappy hygiene, no showers, and the employees don’t regularly get paid ALL of their overtime… and I bet they don’t have soap in their bathrooms, or towels to dry their hands after they don’t wash their hands after using the restroom.

YUCK. In EVERY way Yuck. YUCK = GREE.
